Following up on my post about
Sugar Rush Cafe in Walnut, my parents and I went back to try out their signature breakfast dish: "The Sugar Rush" Cinnamon Raisin French Toast. According to the menu, it's eight pieces of cinnamon raisin bread dipped in a vanilla batter, served with homemade syrup and candied bananas and fresh strawberries.
With the bananas and vanilla, it actually reminded me a little of my dad's bananas foster crepes. I don't like sweet breakfast foods as much as my dad and brother do, but it was still really tasty. As always, I ordered the roast beef and provolone sandwich - it was delicious. As always.
